TESTIMONIALS

4,000+ Lives Changed and Counting

The best in town. The atmosphere is so loving and positive. After my consultation I felt at ease and full of hope. I’ve currently lost 48 pounds and just by looking at me I would say the scale is a lie. I see such a bigger impact than just that amount of pounds but also in inches. I am totally satisfied and would recommend this office to anybody.

About the Program

Education, Accountability, and Medication

It’s important to understand that prescription weight loss medications are not a miracle cure. They are intended to be used as a tool to work with your diet and exercise efforts. The best way to achieve impressive results is to adhere to your practitioner’s guidance in terms of nutrition, exercise, and other lifestyle improvements.

A Commitment to Better Health

A 12 Month Program that Delivers Lasting Results

Your initial visit will be thorough; plan on staying for about 90 minutes. You’ll share details about your medical history, family health history, and any previous weight loss efforts, plus a physical exam. Then your provider will construct a treatment plan just for you.

During subsequent visits, we will track your progress and monitor your medications, and you’ll also receive education from experts on topics relevant to your care.

Your team is here to support you, but the ultimate goal is for you to take the reins and sustain a healthy weight on your own.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do weight loss medications work?

Not everyone needs weight loss medications to reach and sustain their goals. Some are able to find success by making meaningful changes to their diet and exercise routines.

In other cases, however, those efforts alone are not sufficient. Some men and women need additional help to drop excess pounds and maintain a healthier weight.

There are a number of different prescription medications that can help. Most work to control hunger, some may slightly elevate your metabolic rate, and one decreases your absorption of dietary fat. Our medical team at PEAK only offers medications that they have researched thoroughly and feel comfortable in.

Am I a good candidate for weight loss medications?

Weight loss medications can be a good option for men and women who have struggled to achieve results through traditional diet and exercise efforts. If your body mass index (BMI) is greater than 30, or if it’s greater than 27 and you have a serious weight-related health issue, medication may be a good option.

Are weight loss drugs safe?

The only weight loss medications used at PEAK Wellness and Aesthetics have been the subject of extensive research and clinical trials. These are not quick fix “cures” or trendy solutions. Medication recommendations are tailored to the specific patient.

What kind of diet will I be on?

Your practitioner will help you develop a high protein, low carbohydrate diet that aligns with your lifestyle. While the initial detoxification diet is very restrictive of carbohydrates, the goal is to embrace a healthier way of life that is sustainable over the long term.
