About Christy
Christy Sorey, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner born and raised in Chesapeake, Virginia. She completed both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing at Old Dominion University. Christy began her nursing career in critical care and cardiothoracic surgery before transitioning into the nurse practitioner role, where she has provided comprehensive care in primary care, skilled nursing, assisted living, and long-term care settings. Christy lives in Chesapeake with her husband and their two children, Micah and Reese. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and staying active.
